Im very impressed by Confucian Doctrines, the doctrine that is the quest for order. Im also very glad to realise that Singapore adopts some confucian doctrines too. Confucius
indeed thought way ahead of his time, his values are timeless and forever. I should also try to be like him as much as I can, being absolute and forever.
His words forever will echo in my head, propiety, justice, law and order, filial piety. Everything can be adapted forever. Contary to Mohist and Legalist's views, Confucius stands out as a middle footing in which we should base our paths on. Mohists being that we should treat everyone equally, which contradicts confucian doctrine that we should treat people in a graded manner(pretaining to family and friends). Legalism mentioned about the severity of law for order,(in which I found considerable interest) which later contradicts confucian doctrine for the eventual result that people should be given space to act morally on their own and not forced(with proper education on confucian morals and values).
More to learn, moving onto more things to study, the tao te ching(lao tzu) is a taoist doctrine which I have to try to understand and also im trying to get my hands on the Book of Changes in which the art of war and confucius did base some of his words on. The world is now in the hands of the young and educated.
