Questions...
People question about things they always thought was true and real. But in this world, there are many things that arent real and people still believe in them because out of fear towards ridiculous circumstances and rules. Religions fighting everywhere, whose God is greater than whose God(s) and such.
Im not saying the removal of religion will immediately alleviate such conditions of our world. I am also not discrediting all the contributions of religious individuals and societies. When it comes to choose, one must always look at everything and not just listen to propaganda or media. One must be able to discern and discriminate every single detail whether it may be books or the general media. The media is a extremely useful tool for information to the masses and as well as propaganda. So, discretion is extremely important.
I look back at my earlier days and those days in which I thought there was a God or higher being of some sort. I look back at those days where I cast my spells and dwelled in magick, and I look back at those times where I believed that spirits and gods can do almost everything and manifests in all objects present in this world. Well, those days are now over as I feel that religion has served its purpose and now we should advance to a society devoted to science and ethics. So therefore, my religious stance has changed in my years from Believer to Agnostic (not sure there is a God) and then to Atheist(No belief in God(s)).
The more I travelled down the road of religion, the more fustrated and annoyed I became... how can a God so powerful or spirits so great not prevent the loss of human lives. How can people who see millions of children die in parts of the world of starvation acknowledge that this is the will of God? Does God allow babies to waste their life days after they are born? Or does God create life to make it die the next day? It goes on and on to a train of complex thought that is going to be very long for this small blog.
