Booklist Additions
How time flies and now we are entering the 3rd quarter of the year! With the passing of time comes the accumulation of allowance money and much time to buy books to read. Ok I have not been updating my booklist for quite a while so here are the current additions to my list all of which are non-fiction of course.
I have already read 293 pages of the Omnivore's Dilemma and have another 110 pages to go. Reading non-fiction books (Science genre especially) are excruciatingly rather slow for me because of the grand vocabulary and the whole lot of scientific terms. Some books are even like a textbook like the Chances are... Adventures in Probability. It has quite a bunch of equations and mathematical functions that will make your head spin leaving you confused if you are not accustomed to such things. Other scientific books are fun, like Scientific Curiosity which is semi historical introductory account of science. and the Schott's original Miscellany which each little topic has no relation to the next and is a great book to glean miscellaneous information from.
